This position is located at Eielson AFB in Alaska, and will support the F-35 Program. This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG) and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Mission Training Center MTC). The position will also be supporting Personnel Security/Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist (PERSEC/SETA) duties and in support of the Mission Training Center, the incumbent may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, technicians, and visitors using the facility, operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all USAF, Joint Program Office and local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure areas, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified container; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquires; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified MTC areas and additional duties as required/assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of Personnel Security and Security Education and Training Awareness duties in accordance with DoD Manuals 5205.07 Volumes 1 and 2.
Experience providing security education briefings to a wide range of military, civilian and contractor ranks and grades.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program access and access to a wide range of specialized networks.
Works well independently and in group settings. Excellent written, verbal and customer interface skills.
Ability to multi-task and remain organized;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
Experience dealing with Personnel Security/Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist (PERSEC/SETA) position.
Past appointment as a Special Access Program Personnel Security Official (SPO).
Experience providing briefings and/or training.
Knowledge of Joint Strike Fighter security requirements.
Experience working in a military environment.
Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance as necessary.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
