Location Profile:

Andrews Laser Works, founded in 1946, specializes in the fabrication of complex assemblies from Inconel, steel, aluminum, and titanium sheet with a core competency in aero engine brackets and components.

Position Summary:

Level One –Level one Shipping/Receiving clerks complete basic Shipping and Receiving tasks such as packing and unpacking orders.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading trucks
Safely and efficiently operate forklift and order picker upon proper licensing.
Verify packaging slips and order contents, performing visual inspection.
Package product for either outside processing or finished goods.
Part protection, boxing, taping, wrapping, banding, weighing, etc.
Loading and unloading material using a crane.
Maintain quality standards including performing in process inspection procedures.

Required Skills:

Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and analytical abilities
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate

Required Experience:

0–1-year experience in a similar role

Level of Education:

GED or High School diploma preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

Standing: 75 of the time
Walking: 25 of the time
Lifting or Carrying: Max 35lbs
