Job Description

  • Primarily accomplish any Structure Technician task, related to structure shop requirement
  • Inspects, evaluates, repairs, modifies the metal parts , within the company structure shop approved capability, to a standard of airworthiness in accordance with the applicable company maintenance control manuals (MCM and MPM) and Transport Canada regulation;
  • Orders the necessary parts and insures follow-up on them with Technical Purchasing;
  • Works closely with the maintenance technicians to keep all aircraft systems operational;

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Professional Studies, Aircraft Structure Assembly, or equivalent;
  • Certified welder, an asset;
  • Ability to do detailed work with hands (dexterity);
  • Ability to read plans / blueprints;
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a RAIC and AVOP;
  • Strong communication skills (English and French);
  • Must show initiative, team spirit;
  • Resourceful and autonomous;
  • Bilingual French and English.
