How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) As a vital team member, the Technical Solutions Consultant will lead the Reservations Technology team in designing and delivering technical solutions that support the customer and employee experience. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the division and technology leaders defining and implementing technology solutions that drive business value, manage complexity, and improve performance. They will also partner and work closely with the Reservations Customer Engagement Center leaders to ensure understanding of technical concerns and objectives.Responsibilities (not comprehensive):Partners with product managers, IT and other stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery of projectsLeads the design of scalable and high-performance technology solutions. Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business and enterprise objectivesExplores various options for solutions and articulates trade-offsDevelops detailed proposals including data models, financial analysis, integration timelines, and infrastructure components for technology initiativesIdentifies and mitigates risks associated with solution implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgetStays current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices Serves as a trusted advisor to product teams, offering technical guidance, strategic insights, and recommendations to maximize the value of the solutionsCreates solution documentation and guidelines, including standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams.Provides training and support to team members on new processes and best practicesCommunicates with stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed changes or options throughout processPartners within department/Division to develop and implement relevant processes and technologies to optimize the organization’s internal operationsHave a holistic view of options and be able to recommend best approaches and solutions to products, delivery/implementation

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) 7+ years of business solutions or related experience Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignmentStrong understanding of business processes and experience with business process analysis and optimizationExperience implementing core solutions, online solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situationsStrong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levelsAbility to build strong relationships across various divisionsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and VisioConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data Embraces diverse people, thinking, and stylesPossesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalencyIs at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) Candidates for this position may have completion of a BA/BS in Computer Science, IT or a related fieldExperience in the airline industryProven experience (10+ years) working in a similar role, preferably in the software industry or consulting.Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with SaaS solutions.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.Performance tracking: utilization rate, hourly rates, and over/under management.Experience growing, mentoring, and motivating peers
