Job Summary:
- Perform tensile testing per standard work.
- Receive in and perform final inspection/measurements of tensile test specimens.
- Review and prepare reporting of tensile data.
- Weekend shift Fri-Sun 7p-7a
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of thermocouples
- Perform tensile testing per standard work.
- Receive in and perform final inspection/measurements of tensile test specimens.
- Reviewing and reporting of tensile data.
- Expected to cross train to work also in the Stress Rupture and Creep lab.
- Be able to work in a team environment and handle multi-tasking duties.
- Required to successfully pass annual vision screening.
- Knowledge of SAP, Solumina, and MRP will be a necessity.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year in materials laboratory setting or materials-related field.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical specifications and drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Additional Information:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
