HQ Aero is currently recruiting for PAINTERS in TAMPA, FL

Responsibilities:
As a Painter, you will be required to:

• Paint and apply finishing coats to in accordance to blueprints and/or customer specifications.
• Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjusting colors and fixing defects.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self and/or others.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager as directed.

Essential Job Functions

• Self-starter with a can-do approach.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments to continuity check various assemblies/details parts including basic personal computing literacy.
• Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisory staff.
• Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain and manipulate data.

• 3 years' industrial painting, Mil-Spec, or automotive Refinishing preferred, but not required.
• Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings or customer specifications.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively with co-workers or supervisory staff.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
