Painter II
Bring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers. This role will be an integral part of the manufacturing team. A Day in the Life of a Painter II will prepare, mask, paint, layout, stripe and detail the most complicated paint schemes for aircraft.
What you’ll be doing as a Painter II
- Able to spray primer and painting aircraft interiors and parts (including cowlings).
- Able to mix and spray aircraft with paint with supervision.
- With supervision, able to do the clear coat on aircraft parts (to include cowlings) and aircraft belly.
- Mfg: Able to prime, paint, and clear coat parts with limited supervision.
- Maintains inventory and hazardous waste.
- Demonstrates safe work habits to include always wearing proper PPE.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
