Responsibilities:
Perform repair maintenance, troubleshooting or modification of engine parts in the workshop.
Perform cross-functional jobs in the repair operations process with a focus in Painting, Sheetmetal and Plasma Spray.
Participate in production linearity projects and setup, housekeeping and other workshop activities as instructed by the supervisor.
Upkeep & maintain all operational tooling and fixtures.
Perform various painting and bench repair works such as masking, blending, inserts & broken studs removal/replacement per technical manuals.
Interpret rework dimensions & understand the requirements from technical blue – prints.
Inspect work using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
Assist line supervisor in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
Actively support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.
Perform various other duties as assigned by Cell IC/Workshop Engineer/Manager.
Requirements
NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering discipline.
2 years of relevant experience in either paint shop and Sheetmetal is essential.
Experience in repair in the aerospace industry is a plus.
Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
