Job Description:
Kirtland Flight Center - a busy Part 141 flight school and recreational flying club, in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Chief Flight Instructor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring operations to ensure safety and compliance
- Keeping school documents in order
- Training/supervising new flight instructors
- Performing stage checks
- Working with other school staff to conduct safety meetings
- Interfacing with FAA FSDO to maintain Part 141 status
- Interfacing with the center manager to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements:
- Have a passion for helping students and club members achieve their aviation goals
- Should meet qualifications of FAR 141.35
Could be a part time job for someone looking to make meaningful contributions to aviation
Salary includes a small stipend plus income from hourly flight instruction fees
