Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, is actively seeking High Time First Officer candidates to command our fleet of Embraer 145 regional jets at our Philadelphia, PA, Charlotte, NC and Harrisburg, PA crew bases.   • High Time First Officers with 750 qualifying Part 121.436(a) hours will be paid on the Captains scale after hour verification
  • Bring your longevity from another 121 carrier and start on steps 2-15
  • Captains flow to mainline after 5 years of service or be paid top of scale until they flow.

  • Pilots with 750 hours of qualifying FAR 121.436 flight time will be paid as a Captain. (subject to verification)

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 750 hours of qualifying FAR Part 121.436(a) flight time to upgrade to Captain.
  • Holds an ATP or RATP certificate with a multi engine rating
  • 2,250 hours of total flight time,
    • 50 hours of multi-engine time,
      • 250 hours as Pilot in Command
      • Or meet the requirements for Restricted ATP
  • Meet all flight currency requirements to carry passengers for hire
  • Valid United States passport or a valid passport with authorization to work in the United States
  • FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Type Rating in a Part 25 Aircraft
  • Current employment in a pilot position
