Role Introduction

Reports to: Assistant Manager Global Business Acquisition and Inside Sales

The Global Sales Support Executive is accountable for supporting both the Corporate and Trade HKG and global account managers in managing successful HKG and global agreements including actively managing some Global Accounts as well as the Corporate Market Oneworld products, and in return, delivering high yield incremental revenue.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Ascertain on an ongoing basis the suitability and adjust accordingly the template against which the Return-on-Investment needs to be applied for global agreements
  • Complete the Return-on Investment for new sales leads, the network and the Global Corporate and Trade account managers.
  • Complete the Return-on-investment for renewals
  • Manage and Accountable for Global Corporate Accounts
  • Lead and coordinate Oneworld Alliance deals with the parties concerned and referred to the related team for further business development.
  • On ad-hoc basis analyse the competitiveness of a contract and seek to actively optimise a global agreement against performance alongside the GCAM.
  • Prepare all RFP bid packs and ensure standardised RFP documents are updated and available to the network
  • Prepare performance reports for account specific performance reviews
  • Work with Global Sales Development towards the automation of scorecards for global corporate accounts
  • Prepare impact studies and analysis on ad hoc initiatives relating to global corporate accounts
  • Coordinate any account specific queries relating to the fare filing, contracting or customer complaints
  • Ensure Prism data is being fed through to CX and issue an e-DRA where required
  • Proactively initiative sales improvement across the network within the Global Corporate Sales segment
  • Manage and own ad hoc projects related to Corporate Sales.
Requirements

Essential:

  • 3 years sales support experience
  • Understanding of Revenue Management principles and ability to optimise revenue generation opportunities within corporate agreements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and high level of commercial acumen
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to think innovatively, creatively and maximise sales opportunities

 

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Prism, MIDT, eSmash and Sales Force
  • University degree (preferably in related disciplines)
  • Understanding of the Airline market
