POSITION OVERVIEW

Performs under the direction of the Vice President, Information Technology. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining our Salesforce instance. You will collaborate with various departments to understand business processes, implement customizations, and optimize the platform to drive productivity and customer satisfaction.

JOB SUMMARY

  • System Administration: Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including user management, security settings, profiles, roles, permissions, and data integrity. Handle support tickets related to user permissions, groups, roles, layouts, dashboards, and reports.
  • Configuration and Customization: Customize Salesforce to meet business requirements by creating and modifying objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
  • Data Management: Import, export, and maintain data in Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Reports and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • User Support and Training: Provide user support, training, and documentation for Salesforce features, encouraging user adoption and proficiency.
  • Integration: Collaborate with other system administrators and third-party vendors to integrate Salesforce with other business systems and applications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits, identify issues, and implement necessary fixes to maintain system integrity.
  • System Upgrades and Releases: Stay updated with Salesforce releases, assess their impact on the organization, and coordinate system upgrades.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality and optimize business processes, proposing and implementing solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure Salesforce security standards are met and maintain compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
  • SaaS Administration: Meeting with internal and external stakeholders supporting various other SaaS applications as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar CRM administration role.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Familiarity with data management, integration, and reporting in Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to understand complex business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality results on schedule.
  • Proven experience with high-level technical support of various software packages.
  • Experience with IT security in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications like Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Sales Cloud Consultant preferred or equivalent experience
