ABOUT THE ROLE

Honeywell Building Technologies is looking for a Channel Sales Representative to drive and execute the sales of the security systems products in the assigned territories of Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The incumbent must reside in one of these states (AZ, CO, UT) and be able to travel 50-60 domestically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships and serve as trusted advisor to executive customer stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new relationships with potential customer stakeholders
  • Oversee and manage customer relationships for an assigned book of accounts
  • Identify additional cross-/up-sell opportunities for strategic, high-growth products using SFDC data and collaboration with sales reps
  • Understand and articulate value propositions of Honeywell solutions and offerings
  • Monitor and interpret product usage data for an assigned book of accounts to identify opportunities to improve adoption, pursue renewal opportunities, up-sell within existing products, or identify opportunities for a sales rep to cross-sell
  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization including Finance/Pricing, Legal, Customer Success, and Offering Management, etc.
  • Partners with management and Senior Leaders
  • Travel up to 60 domestically. 

 

The base salary range for this position is $81,600-$102,000. The position also offers sales incentive (subject to change on company performance and individual performance). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

MUST HAVE

  • 5 or more years of channel sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Security Systems or related industry experience
  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • Business development experience, Medium to large project sales
  • Existing relationships with key customers
  • Active member with local and national relevant associations
  • An ability to negotiate with end users and engineers
  • An ability to lead through complexity and change
  • A broad knowledge of principles and best practices in Channel Sales
  • Excellent team and communication skills
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • An ability to influence at the operational level
