Be a part of the Ground Support Solutions (GSS) team based at the South Bend, IN site that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary focal point for all quality related activities for Ground Support Solutions (GSS), SAP Plant 1053
- Schedules & leads all internal audits
- Primary focal point for network & DNV audits
- Point of contact for Boeing, DCMA; coordinates sign offs with their inspector
- Manages GSS eCATS inputs & updates
- Leads Corrective Action Board (CAB) and Supplier Performance Review Board (SPRB)
- Signatory for correlation certificates, tooling & test equipment shipments, QNs, ECNs, CE
- Issues supplier corrective action requests (SCAR) to vendors when discrepant material identified
- Team focal for counterfeit part prevention program & foreign object damage (FOD) prevention
- Focal point for all supplier non-disclosure agreements (NDA)
- Focal point for Process Central procedure updates
- Initiates soft requisitions for special packaging for large shipments
- Collaborates with receiving inspection to provide emergency back-up support
- Presents quality performance metrics & action items at operating reviews & daily HOS meetings
